PREMIERE: OliGio – Tight Bite [Pakate Records]

Emerging from the city of Manchester, UK, OliGio is setting the bar high since his very first release, as we welcome him to the underground circuit with his ‘Tight Bite’ EP. Joining him on this special package is a third of Mason Collective trio and another Manny man in Mase Milo, who delivers a filthy, juggled remix of the lead track. OliGio’s mature sound is off the charts, as the EP unfolds between three rolling, hands-up, heads-down original tracks with hands full of dubby, deep cuts, which soon morph into more punchy moods, whilst sublime atmospheres and vocals bring light to a whirlwind of real, moody, elegant, tech house cuts. Lastly, Mase Milo takes the lead track to a whole new percussive level, feeding the original’s vibe with more reggae vocals and a pinch of UK, nasty, warehouse flavour.
