PREMIERE: Artslaves, Denis Ago – Lemon Fresh [Sound D’Elite]

Artslaves (Alex and Dom) make their label debut on Ilario Alicante’s Sound D’Elite, teaming up with Denis Ago for a first-time collaboration on their four-track EP, ‘Old Job’ , landing 14th March. Infused with the vibrant energy of their Italian roots, the release weaves together elements of House, Jazz, Deep Tech, and Minimal, delivering a fusion of skippy grooves and potent low-end power. Leading the charge, ‘Old Job’ leans into broken rhythms, delivering a punchy, trippy number designed for peak-time play. ‘Fixed’ follows, laying down choppy beats and laid-back vocals, locking in a deep, rolling groove that hits in all the right places. Next up, ‘Lemon Fresh’ brings fizzy textures and warping sonics before ‘Life In Reverse’ closes things out with graceful sax tones and a bubbling beat, injecting fresh energy into this all-night affair of tracks. With a decade of output in Deep Tech, Artslaves have graced labels such as MOXY MUSIK, Deeperfect, and their own MOAN Recordings—home to names like Leon, Hector Couto, and Wade. Their debut collaboration with Denis Ago is a natural follow-up to his release on their MOAN imprint last year, where he dropped the ‘Go Back EP’ alongside Skizzo, with a remix from Yaya. Having crossed paths before and now joining forces, they continue to build
on their growing catalogues, gaining support from the likes of Cloonee, Joseph Capriati, and Loco Dice.
