Premiere: Majak & Diego knows – Sweet Chariot [Superfreq]
Maják & Diego Knows New York natives Maják (Mike) and Diego Knows (Ryan) are lifelong friends and collaborators, co-founding Cut-Line Records to channel their shared vision of groovy, underground sounds.
With deep roots in the New York club scene and a passion for global house and techno, the duo have spent the past decade shaping their distinctive styles, merging their influences to craft something entirely their own.
Here for their debut Superfreq release, Maják & Diego Knows have gone into the Freq Zone to deliver 3 Deep Tech Monsters & a stunning remix from label boss David Scuba.
We kick off with the title track Stomp, a deep pulsating jam featuring trippy vocal samples, haunting tensions pads & gnarly acid, laid upon a tight hypnotic groove.
David Scuba ups the tempo & the weirdness with his remix of Stomp to provide a Deep Tech masterpiece.
Next up is Sweet Chariot, which takes things away from the darkness & into the deep. Tight groovy beats, warm pads, a funky bassline, an infectiously deep melody & haunting vocal samples draw you in for a beautiful trip.
The EP rounds off with the stunning Swing Low. This is deep, trippy House Music at its very best, completing yet another superb release for the Superfreq imprint, showing that the label is back with a vengeance.
