Premiere: SY – Take You There (I Want To) [Moss Co.]

With its focus on the deeper side of house music Archie Hamilton’s Moss Co. imprint drops the new ‘Solutions EP’ from Berlin based and EWax founder, SY.

SY Hails from Manchester in the UK however relocated to Berlin back in 2016 where he currently runs his label EWax and tours around Europe and the globe. He’s played in world renowned clubs such as Fabric, D-EDGE, Sankeys, Space Ibiza, Hoppetosse, Parker Lewis, Tresor, Badaboum, Golzheim and many more, and all the while keeping his production output to the max with heavyweight productions & remixes on prestigious labels such as Rawax, META, Moan, Politics Of Dancing, Avotre and his own very own EWax imprint. For his first release on Hamilton’s Moss Co imprint he delivers a sublime two tracker titles ‘Solutions EP’.

Track one and the title track is ‘Solutions’ an upbeat yet deep driving hypnotic journey, with tripped out atmospherics giving depth to the track. He adds a sweet melodic lead organ and delicate chord placements as the track progresses to convey a fresh yet cutting edge track for the more discerning floor.

On the flip side we have ‘Take You There (I Want To)’ is slightly deeper than the A-side, and it takes its power and energy from the bass line groove and tight metronomic beat pattern. With an elegant flow the “I Want To Take You There” vocal cuts effortlessly through drifting through the track to give this its uplifting finishing touch. Together this is an extremely tight EP of effortlessly elegant deep house at its finest.
