PREMIERE: Ssero – Sateo (Hector Couto Remix) [Pakate Records]

Pakate ends the year with the return of a familiar face, Ssero. The Barcelona-based young gun has been under our radar for a while now – and his debut track on this year’s annual Miami VA was a statement to his sound: groovy, infectious, bouncy and meticulously crafted. His comeback EP is no exception. After meeting in the Marina studios ensemble with the boss Jean Pierre – who’s now set up his new basement in the Catalan’s capital – he realized it was about time for a follow-up. The Spaniard is now about to drop “Sateo” EP, a two-tracker EP in line with the label’s always innovative and fresh sound, which also comes packed with a remix by a real Spanish veteran in Hector Couto, who takes the lead track to a whole new heavy-hitting groovier level with fat drums and heavy basslines.
