Premiere: Chiara Manchia – Moving Slow [Frame Music]

Chiara Manchia steps up to London based Frame Music for a new EP that comes with a remix from Mahony.

Manchia is a Toronto based DJ and producer whose energy is truly infectious. She knows how to deeply connect with her audience and has dropped fresh underground grooves on Inwave, Miaw, Dig and many more and is in top form once more here.

Moving Slow opens up with tight, punchy kicks that make a hefty groove and are topped with smart drum fills and run through with warm bass lines. Bubbling synths rise up though the mix to bring great fluidity and movement while some emotive vocals finish it in style. Mahony’s remix of Moving Slow is more driving and dark with a harder edge to it and plenty of late night menace. Closer Underground Deal rides on more balmy pads and has a subtle cosmic feel to it with more weighty but infectious house grooves down low.

Chiara Manchia’s Moving Slow is another standout release for the new school tastemaker.
