Premiere: Ashiddouhausu -The Cheek [Superfreq]

After an 18-month hiatus from releasing music, Superfreq is back with this stunning EP by The Cheek. With a plethora of amazing releases lined up, expect Superfreq releases to be coming at you thick & fast.

The Cheek is a collaboration between Superfreq label boss Mr.C with his dear friend Nick Synergy, now known as Modulon TV. C & Nick come with 3 brand new tracks.

The EP kicks off with title track Ashiddohausu, melodic deep acid tech at its finest. Deep haunting pads are soon joined by off-beat electro drums. The pads build deliciously until the track kicks in, switching to 4 on the floor in the process. A thick bassline, edgy chord stabs, an infectious acid line & vocal samples create a journey with this celestial masterpiece.

Next up comes Dance Or Die. Mixed down by Robert Babicz, this is another slice of delicious Deep Acid Tech. Pounding beats, thick bass, deep stabs, eerie synth hits, twisted acid lines & mischievous vocal samples make up this cheeky number. The off-beat electro break half way in sums up what The Cheek is all about, flitting between Deep Tech & Electro beats with abandon.

The EP seals the deal with final track Jamboni. This is pure old school electro breaks attitude with a modern tight & crisp production. The bass is huge, the beats are dope, the synths are again eerie & haunting with edgy off-kilter frequencies in this catchy yet deeply trippy number.
