Premiere: Andrew Azara – Echos [Politics Of Dancing Digital]

Over the last few years, Dublin-based Andrew Azara has quietly built a catalogue full of high-quality releases for the likes of Swerve Digital, Likeminded and MicroHertz. Because of this, it’s little surprise to find that his latest missive – his first for French producer Politics of Dancing’s popular imprint – is also a winner. He begins in fine fashion with ‘There Comes a Time’, a groovy and immersive deep house roller rich in addictive synth-bass, spacey chords, sustained synth-strings and short vocal snippets, before embracing a more classical, sun-splashed U.S deep house sound on ‘Echos’ [sic]. Arguably best of all, though, is the gorgeously hypnotic, tactile, colourful and loved-up goodness of future deep house classic ‘Frontline’.
