Premiere: Elian Dust – Don’t Stop [Moonbootique]
Elian Dust returns to Moonbootique this September as he drops his latest EP, ‘Nice Guys’.
Hailing from Austria, Elian Dust has become a rising talent of note since stepping onto the scene, crafting a captivating and distinctive sound on labels like Toolroom Trax, Saved, and Kittball. He has gained support from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, A-Trak, Left : Wing Kody and John Summit, whilst holding a residency at Vienna Beach Club. Having rounded out March in style on the label with the release of his ‘Into The Room’ EP, he now returns to Moonbootique this September to deliver three forward-thinking grooves.
Title cut ‘Nice Guys’ is a record full of attitude. Here we see Elian Dust fuse dubby chords with euphoric pads and sinister melodies to get listeners moving. ‘Alemandala’ continues the heady vibe as precise percussion combines with high-frequency bursts and energetic builds. The package closes with ‘Don’t Stop’, which seamlessly blends kinetic drum programming with a fathomless bassline and punchy vocal snippets to add another solid addition to this dynamic offering.
